Barclays Capital came to Moto office for a recruitment talk. It was organised by GSG group which is also affected by the layoff activities . They have a earlier exit date compare to our Group2 team. Some are going off in April, Some June. Our exit date is Sep 30.
Barclays, i guessed the best linkage most of us is with the Barclay Premiership ( EPL ) . Yes! Man utd!
They are primarily a investment banking branch of the bigger Barclays group. Have operations all over the world. According to them, their main hubs are Singapore, New York ( yeah! ) and London ( yeah! yeah! ). They are looking for software development expertise and simliar . Of course, using IT to make more $$$ in the banking sector.
The job environment looks superb. Office @ Atrium Orchard, beautiful offices ( They showed us a video ). I sent in my resume, *cross finger* chances are quite slim i might get an interview because i dont have the relevant field industry information, but got try got chance no try no chance.
