After 2.5 yrs full time nS ( enlisted 1995 ) and 6 high key incamps, finally NO MORE RESERVIST. this last low key in camp is a hppy one, basically just doing parade rehearsals after parade rehearsals.
One chapter of my life closed. Time to open another chapter.
Defination : MINDEF Reserve consists of NSmen who have completed their NS training cycle but have yet to reach the statutory age. They are no longer required to be called back for In-Camp Training (ICT) but are still liable for NS.
My standown parade this friday! Today whole day do drills… shack like fxxk.

QB is busy at work this weekend , so decided to work out a DS party out in town. Dinner was at the place below. Expensive and food is alright. Wont be going to 2nd time.. ( All pictures taken with my Zn5 :p ) The other reason was Billy Tan also got his NDSL too! now we have 5 people in the gang with it. lol

The aftermath of the Motorola Massacre ( Jan 15th ) . Not only is Singapore Design Centrea affected ( Damage is 100% wiped out ) , sites and colleageus we worked with for the past few years has all been impacted. This is truly a sad moment to record in our history books. This is like my 911 .
The blood bath is unbearable, now we have to bear with the aftermath. 皮之不存，毛將焉附, without SDC, will the remaining 40 people here left to clear up the mess worth how much ?
This are the photos we took today, it looks fabulous with everyone in Black! Too bad we missed out Gabriel, John and the team in Taipei. Anyway maybe we can ask Gab to do some superimposing on it. Lets take another one tomorrow with our disney souvenirs!
Anyway, in about 11 hours , D-Hour will arrive in Singapore . Some of you will end up in Grp 1, some in Grp 2 and some will stay in Grp 3. No matter which group you are in, i hope everyone makes the best use of that and move forward. Find a job, go study, take a break, do whatever you wanted to do but never have a chance because of the long hours your boss ask you to work. Scrub CRs, Host calls, Do Deck etc. I have been in moto for 8 years and i consider myself the lucky one because i get a chance to start my manager career in 2004 and with a great team with me, i fly high and fly fast in my career. In about 4 years , DM team became a 21 man strong ( including IA ) across 2 sites and we make a name out of ourselves with the teams across the globe. That alone is a achievement i will remember for the rest of my life. Never have i worked with people like you all that is dedicated and fun loving. Although it is sad that DM team will become history , but when this door closed, another one will open. It may open later but just like red wine , the longer you wait, the better it tastes. LIke i always told my Taipei team, ??? ??? ??
We joke a lot in our work, we complain about others in our work too , those are memories i will never forget. ( especially all the pizza parties and the sync ups and ???!!!) I love seeing you guys crowd around and chat and joke . it igives me a feeling that we build a strongly bonded team , it makes what we are doing a career and not just a job. I hate to say farewell , yet we have to say farewell to some of us, but we will sure meet again. The future in unpredicatable and tomorrow is so uncertain, no one knows what will happen.
So lets all face tomorrow just like the way we face our CRs and SQA , if the company think we are s3p2 and not SA stopper, then let them terminate us bah. The world is round, until we meet again, keep the DM spirit burning!

I missed a lot of things.. in particular WL whom i know since i join Moto, lunch for last 8 years and done a lot of other things together….
